Two fibers. A different feel.
Jute
Visible natural fiber with a firm, textured feel underfoot. Warm natural tones, whitewashed finishes and stripes. Best for living rooms, dining rooms and entries.
Wool-Jute
Carter blends 60% wool with 40% jute in a soft bouclé, in heathered gray or forest green. The softer option for a bedroom or the spot beside your favorite chair.
Look closer.
Raised loops catch the light and leave small shadows between them. That's what gives bouclé its depth, even in a single color.

Four generations at the loom.
Our bouclé rugs are handwoven in a family workshop in Kerala, where a fourth generation continues the craft. Rows of raised loops give the weave its depth, and small variations in tone and texture give each rug its own character.
Made with an SA8000-certified manufacturing partner, audited for fair pay, worker welfare, health and safety, and no child labor. Australian design, handwoven in Kerala and brought to the United States by North Avalon.
