The Carter Heathered brings softness to a natural palette. A wool and jute bouclé in a heathered neutral, the wool flecked through so the tone reads mottled and warm rather than flat, with natural jute beneath holding the structure. At 60% wool it's genuinely soft underfoot, easier and more giving than pure jute. Made in Kerala, around half an inch thick. At area size it grounds a living room or bedroom in a quiet, textured neutral you'll happily walk barefoot on. Handcrafted by a family workshop, so the heather settles differently across every rug.

What to expect +
Like all natural fiber rugs, some initial shedding is normal and will settle over time. If a strand pops out, twist and push it back through to the base; never pull it. You may also notice a fine layer of dust beneath the rug in the first few weeks. A natural odor from dyes and fibers may be present when first unpackaged. This is completely normal and will dissipate once the rug is aired out.
