A small rug that makes a strong first impression. Deep navy stripes cut across a chunky jute bouclé, a bold, high-contrast graphic for the spot just inside the door, beside the bed, or layered over a larger rug. Pure natural jute, made in Kerala, around half an inch of dense, textured pile. Small in footprint but big on character, and tightly woven enough to take daily foot traffic in its stride. Handcrafted by a family workshop, so every piece is a little different.

Like all natural fiber rugs, some initial shedding is normal and will settle over time. If a strand pops out, twist and push it back through to the base; never pull it. You may also notice a fine layer of dust beneath the rug in the first few weeks. A natural odor from dyes and fibers may be present when first unpackaged. This is completely normal and will dissipate once the rug is aired out.
