A soft, neutral runner for the parts of the house you actually feel. The Carter Heathered is a wool and jute bouclé in a mottled, heathered tone, its 60% wool making it noticeably soft along a hallway or beside a bed, while the jute keeps it hard wearing underfoot. Made in Kerala at around half an inch. Every runner is handcrafted, so the heather and weave shift a little from one to the next.

What to expect +
Like all natural fiber rugs, some initial shedding is normal and will settle over time. If a strand pops out, twist and push it back through to the base; never pull it. You may also notice a fine layer of dust beneath the rug in the first few weeks. A natural odor from dyes and fibers may be present when first unpackaged. This is completely normal and will dissipate once the rug is aired out.
