The jute is worked into a thick, looping bouclé with real texture through the pile, 100% sustainable and hand-loomed in Kerala at a little under half an inch. Hard wearing where the traffic runs heaviest, it brings pattern and warmth to a stretch of the house that usually gets neither. Every runner is handcrafted, so yours is a little different.

Like all natural fiber rugs, some initial shedding is normal and will settle over time. If a strand pops out, twist and push it back through to the base; never pull it. You may also notice a fine layer of dust beneath the rug in the first few weeks. A natural odor from dyes and fibers may be present when first unpackaged. This is completely normal and will dissipate once the rug is aired out.
